Darbie: The Captain with a Hidden Party Mode.
She’s the third sister of Deyna and Dillon, and she’s got a completely different vibe. While her sisters are out causing beautiful chaos, Darbie is the one in the cockpit, cool as a cucumber, navigating the skies with the steady hand of a seasoned pilot. She’s calm, collected, and professional under pressure—the kind of girl who could land a 747 in a thunderstorm without spilling her coffee.
But here’s the thing about Darbie. Underneath that composed exterior is a secret. Once the work is done, the plane is parked, and the seatbelt sign is off, this captain knows how to party. She’s willing to let loose, to celebrate, to turn a quiet night into a full-blown bash. She’s the one who will grab a keg (figuratively speaking, of course) and get the whole crew dancing. She’s the best of both worlds: the steady hand you need in a crisis and the life of the party when the crisis is over.
Darbie is a tri-colored Husky puppy, a stunning blend of snowy white, reddish cream, and bold black, with eyes that hold the wisdom of a thousand flights and the mischief of a thousand parties. She’s one of three sisters, a trio of treasures rescued from a high-kill shelter in southern Arizona, and she’s ready to bring her unique brand of calm and chaos to a forever home.
She’s the sister who keeps Dillon grounded and Deyna focused, the one who makes sure everyone’s seatbelt is fastened and the snacks are distributed. She’s the mom of the group, the organizer, the planner. But when the work is done, she’s the one who says, “Okay, now we have fun.”
Darbie is searching for a family who appreciates a dog with layers. Someone who understands that calm doesn’t mean boring, that professionalism doesn’t mean stiff, and that a captain can also be the heart of the celebration. She’s the perfect companion for someone who wants a steady presence during the week and a party partner on the weekends.
Additional questions will gladly be answered for serious adopters who have submitted our adoption questionnaire.

We never recommend cats or other small animals with huskies because of the high prey drive nature of the breed.
